Our Vision
We envision a garden with a diverse and flourishing ecosystem; a perennial and self-sowing polyculture; a group culture of pleasurable labor and reciprocity; and an observant and trusting relationship with each other and the more-than-human world. We will build a space for work, rest, and play characterized by safe and abundant access within our communities, and become a model for community building that is loving, sustainable, and accessible.
Our Values
Queer
We are a queer & trans growing collective. We are a space for intergenerational and interspecies kinship that centers expansive genders, sexualities, and ways of being. We recognize the inherent beauty of our queerness, the queerness of the world, and the belonging we share. We are rooted in the lineage of queer & trans history, and we are accountable to queer & trans futures.”
Radical
Living among supremacist, normative ways of relating, we seek justice and liberation. We practice collective governance, accountability, and non-hierarchical decision-making. We share labor, land, tools, knowledge, food, and other gifts. We value friendship and communalism, and we move toward pleasure with rest, gatherings, magic, and experimentation.
Care
We care for ourselves and our non-human kin through cyclical stewardship practices, cultivating diverse foods and medicines and abundant beauty. We respect the dignity of all beings, encourage wide and perennial biodiversity, and follow inspiration from natural systems to create self-sustaining and abundant communities.
